The ‘Burbs Renews for Season Two

Peacock has officially renewed the Keke Palmer-led series The 'Burbs for a second season.

The announcement was made on April 13, following the show's massive streaming success, which included having the highest Day 1 viewership for a Peacock original ever. Keke Palmer (Samira), Jack Whitehall (Rob), and the ensemble cast including Julia Duffy, Paula Pell, Mark Proksch, and Kapil Talwalkar.

Creator Celeste Hughey has teased that the "Big Bad" for Season 2 is already identified, and the story will likely explore the depth of the town's conspiracy and the fallout from the Season 1 finale cliffhangers.

The series has generated over 1.7 billion viewing minutes since its February 8, 2026, debut. The show maintained a strong presence in the Nielsen U.S. Originals Top 10 for four consecutive weeks.
