Harris Family United Has 50 Cent Finally Met His Match?

The long-running tension between 50 Cent and T.I. flared up again recently. With King Harris and Domani Harris both released diss tracks defending their parents.

In classic trolling 50 Cent behavior. He took to social media by posting an image of T.I.’s wife Tameka “Tiny” Harris of the iconic R & B group Xscape. Leaving fans asking, what does she have to do with the rival?

The Harris clan enters the whole chat room with something to say. Domani’s track “Ms. Jackson” even referenced 50 Cent’s late mother, which many fans saw as a major line crossed while others say alls fair in a Rap beef, sending a reminder of how the situation started. But, the song hits key points that have long been questioned. Such as alleged abuse of women, and house fire claims by 50’s former long time girlfriend and mother of his oldest son. A house in Dix Hills, New York, occupied by Shaniqua Tompkins, and son Marquise, was destroyed in a suspicious fire on May 30, 2008. The $2.4 million mansion burned down early in the morning, with six people inside, including Tompkins and her son, who escaped with injuries from smoke inhalation. Shaniqua Tompkins publicly accused 50 Cent of being behind the blaze, claiming he sent someone to burn down the house. Thus, being the over exaggerated term Domani uses, “Firebug” through out a verse.

Altogether, the Harris camp has reportedly dropped multiple diss records in a short span. So, the pressure on 50 is real. While he hasn’t fully engaged yet, there are some very on-brand strategic reasons. He has in fact taken down the images of Tiny, Mrs. Tina Knowles , (yes, the internet’s Mother) who posted an image of Tiny in support. 50 has strangely enough put up several projects and news articles on Instagram, opting to stay clear of posting about the Harris family. Fans take this as 50’s white flag.

50 Cent is famous for timing his social media attacks. Historically he waits for momentum then posts something viral and disrespectful or drops a meme that flips the narrative. Silence from him usually isn’t surrender, it’s setup. This is different. A family front. Not only has Tiny Harris garnered support from fans and celebrities alike. The men in her life have formed a protective shield around her. Nothing like this has ever been done in a noted Rap battle before. As fans await to see what's next.

It's clear that the Harris family has unity. They are braced and ready for whatever comes their way. ++
